A great family place with wonderful staff. Just the daily specials are available. We had the roast chicken and fish. Both really well done and super tasty. So bread, soup, main and a mini carafe of wine for each. ALL great and for the really great price of 7.5 Euros. If you skip this place you're a fool.

Unbelievable prices for such amazing food and wine, and the service was just extraordinary . Very friendly and welcoming to a solo traveler. I had a soup , sardines as my main and a carafe of local white wine … all for just 8 euros ! I had to ask whether they have remembered to charge me for everything I ordered .. would love to come back but I’m leaving tomorrow early morning for the next stage of the Camino de Santiago…

We have just had a lovely, lovely dinner at O Marquês and here’s to say: the place is simply not to be missed. Their dishes made of fresher than fresh local ingredients are finger-licking delicious! We enjoyed a menu with homemade chicken soup, bread, grilled sargo with boiled potato and salad on the side, and a carafe of vinho verde. Service was impeccable, warm-hearted. Locals are main clientele, many on the first name basis, the vibe is chilled and friendly. Simply beautiful to experience.

Tasty and well cooked homemade food. Friendly staff. Gets busy at meal times but quick service as you get only 3 menu choices. We really appreciated that the menu included a small soup.

Great food, incredible value. Bread, soup, wine and main course for 6 Euro. I had grilled fish of the day, my wife the roast chicken. Both excellent.
